Creative Comedy for a Crazy COVID World
Phew! How's that for alliteration?
Release your inner funny girl with comedian and founder of the Caffienated Comedy Show, Rae Hatton, for a workshop on comedy, social justice, and how to write a good joke without having to be a real jerk. Workshop is available for free to the public, with preference given to young artists 12-19 About the Artist: Rae Hatton has led several comedy workshops in the past for "beginners", which involves an introduction to the history of comedy, comedy writing, and group feedback and performance practice. She has performed stand-up comedy for the last 7 years, and pre-covid, could be seen around town laughing on stage at a variety of venues. She's passionate about art, writing, and social justice issues, and likes to throw them all together in funny ways and hopes you all will, too. Please make sure to register for the event as space will be limited in order to preserve bandwidth! Event Time: Saturday, October 24th, 1pm - 2:30pm This will be a digital event held in the SCYS Google Meets Space. |
